The Tuggeranong Vikings Bowls Club is situated at the VIKINGS TOWN CENTRE SPORTS CLUB, Greenway which has superb licensed club facilities and is surrounded by the picturesque Brindabella Mountains.

Versatile Fours (Report 24/03/25)

Entries are closing soon for the Open Versatile Fours to be held 7th and 8th April 2025.   Good prize money for the first three places with morning tea and lunch provided on both days.   Entry form can be viewed here.

Club Ladies Major Pairs Final (Report 24/03/25)

Congratulations to Annette Tye and Jenny Clout for winning the Ladies Major Pairs Final over Kaleen McAullay and Carmen Crosland.   After jumping out to a comfortable lead of 16 to 5, Annette and Jenny seemed to go to sleep for a few ends as Kaleen and Carmen picked up 12 shots in four ends.   Annette and Jenny then steadied the ship to win the last five ends of the game to finish 28 to 17 victors.   Well done ladies.   This is the second time this pair have won this event, the last time in 2022.

Club Mixed Fours Final (Report 21/03/25)

Congratulations to Annette Tye, Dave Harris, Jenny Clout and John Beaumont for taking out the Mixed Fours Final over Marg Argue, Pat Hamilton, Neil Clarke and Dale Budnick.   It was a close encounter with both sides going end for end until the 15th where team Beaumont picked up 3 shots in consecutive ends to hold on for a 17 to 11 victory.   For Annette, Dave, Jenny and John this is the third year in a row that they have won this event.

Club Ladies Major Singles Final (Report 24/02/25)

Congratulations to Jenny Clout for taking out the Ladies Major Singles Championship for 2025.   In a see-sawing game that saw the lead change a couple of times, Jenny finally finished on top with a narrow 25 to 23 shot win over Annette Tye.   For Jenny, this is her second Major Singles title after previously winning it in 2023. The Men’s final will be contested by John Beaumont and Sean Robertson.   A date has yet to be decided for this event.

Free coaching tuition can be provided with suitable times being negotiated with our accredited coaches.
Our club participates in pennant bowls, conducts internal championship events, holds Sports Days as well as various other tournaments throughout the year.

Barefoot Bowls is popular for Christmas parties, birthdays or even team building sessions. Why not organise your friends and colleagues for a fun filled outing of barefoot bowls followed by, if required, meals and refreshments in the VIKINGS SPORTS CLUB.
