Lawn Bowls – The Sport for Everyone

The Tuggeranong Vikings Lawn Bowls Club is situated at the VIKINGS TOWN CENTRE SPORTS CLUB, Greenway which has superb licensed club facilities and is surrounded by the picturesque Brindabella Mountains.

We extend a warm welcome to both local residents and visitors from other accredited bowling clubs to join us for a social game of bowls.

Social Bowls

Both our clubs, the Tuggeranong Vikings Lawn Bowls Club and the Tuggeranong Valley Women’s Bowling Club, share three international sized grass bowling greens where we offer various weekly games.

Ladies Social:       Tuesday mornings commencing at 10:00am

Men’s Social:         Wednesday and Friday afternoons commencing at 12:30pm

Mixed Social:         Thursday mornings commencing at 10:00am

Saturday afternoons commencing at 12:30pm

Sunday mornings commencing at 9:30am (excluding pennant season)

All social games are “mufti” with nominations required no later than 90 minutes before the game.

Free coaching tuition can be provided with suitable times being negotiated with our accredited coaches.

Both clubs participate in pennant bowls, conduct internal championship events, hold Sports Days as well as various other tournaments.

Barefoot Bowls

Barefoot Bowls is popular for Christmas parties, birthdays or even team building sessions.  Why not organise your friends and colleagues for a fun filled outing of barefoot bowls followed by, if required, meals and refreshments in the VIKINGS SPORTS CLUB.  Please contact the club to assist with your enquiry by telephoning (02) 6208 6305 or emailing us.
